AI4ID Desktop is a native Windows app that puts the AI4ID.community at your fingertips faster access to Spaces, notifications, embedded demos, and offline reading. This release is currently available for Windows only.

System requirements
- Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
- 4 GB RAM minimum (8 GB recommended)
- 200 MB free disk space
- Internet connection required for sync and live features
Quick install
- Download the
setup.exeinstaller. - Run the installer and follow the prompts.
- Launch AI 4 ID Desktop from the Start menu.
- Sign in with your AI4ID.community account.
If your system prompts for permission, allow the installer to run. For enterprise environments, your IT team may need to permit installation via group policy.
First run
- Click Sign in and use your AI4ID.community credentials.
- Allow notifications if you want desktop alerts for replies and mentions.
Security & privacy
- The app communicates securely with our VPS and Bunny Cloud storage over HTTPS.
- API keys and sensitive tokens are not stored in plain text on the device.
- For organizations with strict proxy or firewall rules, domain allowlisting may be required for embedded demos or external web objects.
Troubleshooting
- No notifications: Check Windows notification permissions and app settings.
- Web objects not loading: Your network or LMS may be blocking external scripts — try allowlisting the relevant domains.
- Installer won’t run: Right-click → Run as administrator, or check antivirus/quarantine settings.
- App crashes or fails to start: Reinstall the latest package and reboot. If problem persists, collect logs and contact support.
To report issues, open a thread in Showcase & Collab → App Support in the community or email admin@ai4id.community with:
- Windows version (e.g., Windows 10 21H2)
- App version and installer filename
- Short description and any error messages
